Justice for Students: Demand Fair Re-evaluation of FBISE 2024 Results

The Issue

This year's HSSC results have left students and parents across the nation in shock and disbelief. With only 58% of students passing, the outcome is nothing short of devastating. The situation is made worse by the fact that the results were delayed by an entire month, fueling widespread rumors of internal corruption within FBISE. There have been reports that some students' answer sheets were tampered with, leading to a delay in the announcement of results. This raises a critical question: How can we trust FBISE with our answer sheets, which represents our hard work and dedication?

As a student, I am deeply concerned about the accuracy and integrity of the grading process. For instance, I correctly answered 16 MCQs in my math exam, yet my total score is only 11. My marks have dropped drastically, and it’s both unbelievable and heartbreaking to see. They’ve given me far fewer marks than I could have ever imagined. This glaring discrepancy suggests that those responsible for checking our exams are either incompetent or indifferent to their responsibilities. Worse still, it seems that our exams might be subject to manipulation for personal gain. Even on the day of the result announcement, there was further confusion and frustration when the release time was abruptly changed from 11 AM to 12 PM on August 23rd. This last-minute alteration only added to the anxiety and mistrust among students and parents, reflecting a deeper issue of disorganization and lack of transparency within FBISE.

We cannot stand by and allow our future to be jeopardized by such negligence and potential corruption. We demand transparency, accountability, and a fair re-evaluation of the results. Our hard work deserves to be respected, not undermined by a flawed and untrustworthy system.
