On monday (august 2, 2021) a defensless stray dog was tortured and murdered in the streets of Mohammedia (Morocco) by two adult men. Multiple witnesses stated that the dog started barking at the men. Their reaction was grabbing loose curbstone tiles and throwing these at the poor creature, hitting him on the head and back. Causing serious head injuries (broken nose, jaw and permanent damage to both eyes). Sadly the poor dog passed away two days later.

The vet thinks that the dog was around 1 to 2 years old. There was no sign of rabies. 

One of the men was arrested after three witnesses filed a police report. But today (august 5, 2021) he was set free. Not only did they let one of the murderers go, the witness reports seem to have vanished, meaning someone was payed to make the murder of this defensless dog 'go away'. 

There needs to be justice for the murder of this poor dog. These actions will not be tolerated and will have consequenses. Thousands of stray dogs and cats suffer daily in the streets of Morocco.
