Justice for Stephen: Overturn Quadir R. Dickerson’s 3rd Degree Murder Conviction in Pennsy

Justice for Stephen: Overturn Quadir R. Dickerson’s 3rd Degree Murder Conviction in Pennsy
The Issue
On March 15, 2022, my brother, Stephen Hoston III, was gunned down in cold blood by Quadir R. Dickerson in Philadelphia, PA. The incident was captured on video and despite definitive proof, the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania only deemed it fit to charge Dickerson with 3rd degree murder citing "lack of evidence". This is not just unacceptable but a gross misrepresentation of justice.
My brother wasn't the aggressor on that fateful day - he was just minding his business when he was ambushed and shot while carrying a baby. Stephen wasn't a troublemaker. He was a loving uncle, brother, and son who dedicated his life to helping others within our community.
Stephen's loss is not just a personal tragedy for our family but a loss for the community too. His life was cut short out of jealousy and hatred. Unfortunately, the same community he loved and grew up in failed him by refusing to stand as witnesses in this case.
We now appeal to you, the public, to join our fight for justice and ensure my brother's demise doesn't go in vain. We need your help to overturn this lenient conviction and ensure Dickerson faces charges that truly reflect his heinous act. It's time we stand up against such injustices and make it known that our courts need to hold individuals accountable for their actions. Sign this petition and let your voice echo our plea for Justice for Stephen Hoston III.
