Nine years ago, I adopted my beloved dog, Sparky, from the SPCA, and we've lived harmoniously and without incident until a new neighbour moved into our community in 2022. Without clear motive, this neighbor became a source of trouble for us. I was just informed by the city of Montreal  Obudsman that  PROANIMA BOUCHERVILLE dog shelter euthanized my poor baby Sparky by order of the director of Proanima shelter  Mrs . Caroline Lacasse and her accomplice  Mme Nolwenn Bouju who works at  Animal control  department of Montreal situated  in  425 rue jacque Cartier in  old old Montreal . I have been told by an employee who works  at  Proanima shelter that my poor Baby was tortured at that shelter  . The Director of Proanima was very rud to me when I tried to ask about my dog and threatened me to call the police sevral times because I wanted to know how my baby was doing…My poor baby never bit or hurt any one but because of a personal conflict with Mme Bouju she took it personal..A third accomplice was the Veterinarian Anne Marie Gagnon who faked the report considering my Dog was 50% dangerous just because she thought my Dog was a pitbull , although my Dog is a mix Terrier Pitbull .I am very depressed and at the hospital. My elder son passed away in November 2021 of depreesion because they seized my dog and his  dog . And my younger son is in a deep depression

In September 2022, the unthinkable happened. The Animal Control Department seized Sparky. And killed him.  This was a shocking event in my life, as Sparky had been an integral part of my household for nearly a decade. The bond we shared was irreplaceable, and the emotional impact of his removal was profound.

Efforts to clarify the grounds of this seizure or to facilitate Sparky’s return had been met with silence and obstacles. The situation worsens as the days stretch into months, and the ache of his absence grows deeper. Sparky was not just a pet; he was my family, my comfort, and a source of unparalleled joy.

In a fair and just society, actions such as these demand transparency and accountability. Hence, I am appealing to every animal lover, every advocate for transparency, and every person who believes in the humane treatment of animals to rally for Sparky.  It's about righting a wrong in the animal control system.

This petition calls upon the Animal Control Department to expeditiously review Sparky's case, provide clear and factual reasons for his seizure, and ensure no dog is ever killed again.
