This petition is personal and necessary. My two beloved pitbulls were visciously shot 3 times each with a shot gun broadside and at a distance, then killshot to the back of their heads with a seperate weapon. I want my city ordinance reformed and changes made to insure this doesn't happen to other good dog owners. Petitioning to change city ordinance and protect good dogs that do not bite. Laws should be made and reformed so that an animal that is not in the act of killing or attacking someone or something deadly force should be used at a very last resort. These animals lives matter to their loved ones and these people should as well be punished for taking lives without good cause.
