16 years old Shahnila belonged to the Manzoorabaad District Jamshoro. She was murdered by Riaz Machhi who is Shahnila's brother and her mother was also involved in that murder. Murder happens on 17th of July 2021 at 9pm. Shahnila was a innocent girl her murder was held on bases of "karo Kari" custom.

Honour killings in Pakistan are known locally as karo-kari (Urdu: کاروکاری‎). Pakistan has the highest number of documented and estimated honour killings per capita of any country in the world; about one-fifth of the world's honour killings are committed in Pakistan (1,000 out of the 5,000 per year total). 

What is Kaaro kaari?(hounour killing)

Due to the belief, the victim has brought dishonour upon the family or a community by standing against their decision. For raising her voice (as its applied to females only) against any decision, death is viewed as a way to restore the reputation of the family or community.

Here in Sindh Pakistan, in the district of Manzoorabaad this social taboo is called "Kaaro Kaari". In the past 10 years, 52 girls have been killed in the name of kaaro kaari and not a single case hasn't filed against any of the culprits.
     Even in in the case of Shahnilla, still no FIR has been filled against Riaz Maachi the culprit, as the area has been ruled by feudal Waris Maachi who has been also directly involved in planning as well as kiilling this innocent young girl.

The SHO of the department has filed FIR under the order of feudal Waaris Maachi against Amanullah Niazi and Ziauddin who are non guilty instead of real culprit they are in custody. 

Its our appeal to session court of Sindh,  to give justice ko Shahnila. Stand with us to give justice to Shahnila,  Amanullah Niaz Nabi and Ziauddin.Please support us to raise voice against this issue so that we can stop murders in Pakistan in the name of hounour killing.
