This is regarding Case No. 23-11253 in the State of Michigan 75th Judicial District. On February 13, 2023, the Midland County Prosecutor's Office in Midland, Michigan illegally seized our beloved family dog Shadow. This was due to an altercation where a white woman allowed her unleashed dogs to attack my father, Rajib Bora, and Shadow, who was on leash. The Prosecuting Attorney on the case is now trying to have Shadow euthanized, with no legal grounds for doing so, as he was on leash and did not kill or seriously injure any dogs or humans during the altercation. We have had Shadow since he was 6 weeks old and have always provided a loving, warm home for him. He is my mom's baby and a huge part of our family. Please stand with us to fight this unjust system that is taking advantage of an immigrant family and standing behind the word of a white woman instead of looking at the facts and the position of the law in this case.
