Mr. Jerry Mason put his dog in the back of a u haul and the dog died as a result of heat stroke. A witness saw Mason "yanking" on Scottie's leg and he was so shocked, he physically stopped Mason "from pulling the dog's paw off."

There is eye witness evidence and facts point to Mr. Mason acting maliciously. It is important to punish this kind of cruelty to helpless animals and to protect animals from this in the future and make sure this man can not own and hurt animals again. There is ample evidence that people that hurt animals like this are capable of doing the same to humans. A thorough investigation is warranted and an felony charge is appropriate.
