Justice For Sarah Booker

The Issue

Dalton Lachapelle has always gone unnoticed as a threat, cleverly masquerading behind the guise of a vulnerable person who needs care and attention. However, his true colors show the complete opposite, marking him as a predator who should not be allowed to walk free. I am Sarah Booker I was kidnapped, raped, and human trafficked by him.

Pretending to be special needs individual seeking love, he invaded my life, violating my trust and safety. Starting around July 17th, 2024, he became a regular presence at my home. My family, misguided by his act, thought they were helping someone in need. It was during these times that he raped and tortured me in my own room, taking advantage of my family's situation. My mother, seriously ill and worried she didn’t have much time left, had employed him to help, not knowing the nightmare he was bringing into our lives.

The night of September 13th, 2024 1:00 AM, was when the horrors escalated beyond comprehension. Dalton Lachapelle kidnapped me from Alabama to Mississippi and trafficked me to a hotel in McComb Mississippi. In that hotel, I was gang-raped by two men, including him. This traumatizing ordeal was only made worse by the apathy of the authorities. Instead of investigating these heinous crimes, the police classified my disappearance as a runaway case and ignored my family pleas for an Amber Alert. I wasn’t found till Sep 14th 2024 around 1:15 PM I was found in Louisiana.

The system has failed to protect me and many others like me, leaving us vulnerable to further harm. We need to hold Dalton Lachapelle accountable for his actions and shed light on the systemic failures that allow such predators to exploit victims without consequence. My experience is not isolated, and his ongoing freedom is a direct threat to potential future victims.

We demand that law enforcement agencies take immediate action, re-evaluate the case, and ensure that justice is served. An investigation must be reopened, and authorities must look deeper into Dalton Lachapelle's pattern of abuse, trafficking, and manipulation.

Please join me in this urgent call to action. Sign this petition to demand justice, better protection for victims, and to prevent any future tragedies caused by Dalton Lachapelle or individuals like him. Together, we can push for change and make our voices heard. Your signature could help save another person from enduring such life-altering trauma.
