On 4/17/2023 Jackson Phillips accepted a plea deal in court. A plea deal the family expressed for months they didn’t want, that they wanted more justice. With the accepted plea deal Jackson Phillips is only being charged with 1st degree manslaughter domestic. Many people are very discouraged and outraged at the States Attorney’s approval to even offer such a low plea deal in such a brutal  domestic violence murder. Our communities want to see Jackson Phillips sentenced to life in prison without parole which is the max sentence for manslaughter in the 1st degree. 

We want justice for Randi and we want change for all future cases. We lost Randi forever, she’ll never have that chance at life again because he took it.
