I, Margaret Brown, the mother of Quashanda Brown, am reaching out to ask for your support in signing this petition to ensure that the legal case against the property owners of 17 N. Brighton Ave. is not dismissed.

We believe the landlord and property owner were negligent in their duty to secure the property and protect the community from dangerous activities, including drug dealers and cartels. If proper measures had been taken, we firmly believe that the tragic events leading to my daughter’s death could have been prevented.

This petition seeks to hold those responsible for this negligence accountable. We ask that justice be served for Quashanda and for the safety of others who may be affected by such failures in the future.
