Justice for Penn State Student Justine Gross

Justice for Penn State Student Justine Gross
The Issue
Justine Gross was a sophomore at Penn State's University Park campus when she tragically died at an off-campus apartment building on 11/10/2021. She had been living in this apartment building since August 2021. Her parents were shown spotty video footage from the apartment building that shows that Justine was with a guy the night that she died and this guy also lived in this apartment building. The State College Police Department released a statement on 02/17/2022 stating that the Centre County coroner's office determined that Justine died from "multiple acute blunt force trauma, due to a fall" after falling down 11 stories down the trash chute in the apartment building. The coroner also released that "toxicology results were obtained from liver tissue, and analysis detected Delta-9 Carboxy THC — marijuana — and an elevated level of ethanol".
The police are convinced that based on the non-cohesive video footage that they showed her parents, Justine somehow accidentally ended up in the trash chute on the eleventh floor of the apartment building, which led to her plunging to her death through the trash chute. Her body was found on 11/12/2021 at the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority transfer station in College Township. Her parents had to identify her body only through pictures. The guy who was with her that night did not get charged with anything and was not thoroughly questioned about the blunt he admitted to giving to her the night of her death. During a meeting with the coroner's office and the state college police department, her parents were told that a rape kit was not performed ruling out the chance of properly finding out if Justine was sexually assaulted that night.
Justine's family members do not believe that she voluntarily went into the trash chute and have asked for Justine's case to be reopened in the state of Pennsylvania. Her family needs your help to bring attention to her case to convince the District Attorney in Centre County Pennsylvania to reopen her case. They feel like there are still a lot of gaps that remain in the account of her last night alive. Help her family get justice for her by signing this petition. If anyone would like to reach out to Justine's family privately about her case, her family can be reached via email at justice4justinegross@gmail.com. Thank you.
