End Institutionalised Parent Carer Blame

The Issue

Thousands of parents and carers of disabled children are being routinely made victims of institutionalised parent carer blame, or false accusations of Fabricated or Induced Illness (FII) by local authorities simply for requesting access to services for their children or seeking medical diagnosis in respect of their disabilities. This is in direct violation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Disabled Persons 1975 and the Human Rights Act 1998.  .

The impact on parents, such as myself, has been devastating. And we are amongst many thousands of parent who have been institutionally abused by this system, which is primarily concerned with misplaced perceived parental failings, rather than on the support needs of disabled children and their families.

Please join me in campaigning for immediate and lasting change:

Action needs to be taken immediately!

And the time to act is now!
