We condemn the UK government’s callous disregard for the lives of tens of thousands of Palestinian men, women and children. 

It has failed to act politically or economically, or even to speak out. 

This inaction has given Israel support for its relentless destruction of Gaza and continued ethnic cleansing of Palestine. 

We demand that the government breaks its silence, shows some humanity and listens to what people with compassion want.

The government must:

-         Ensure that the ceasefire in Gaza becomes permanent;

-         Increase humanitarian aid to Gaza to support people in rebuilding their lives;

-         Recognize the state of Palestine;

-         Stop the arms trade with Israel;

-         Stop trade with illegal settlements;

-         Uphold international law by holding war criminals accountable.
