June 29, 2022, we came home to find all 9 of our service german shepherds were shot in the head while in their kennels. 2 of our German shepherds survived the gruesome attack, 7 of them did not. The 2 surviving German shepherds needed alot of surgical and rehabilitation care, in the best of the dogs interests we decided to surrender them to the Anna Shelter so they could have a fighting chance to survive. After months of evidence collecting and investigating, a 21 yr old local was finally charged with this hateful gruesome act. He is facing 9 felonies of Animal cruelty charges and is out on bail awaiting sentencing. We want him to serve the maximum sentence and be put away for hurting our fur babies. I would also like to see Crawford county, pa become an animal activist state and stand behind maximum sentencing for all animal cruelty cases.
