Exonerate omar jones

Exonerate omar jones
The Issue
Omar Jones is a father, brother, son, and husband who has been wrongfully incarcerated for 26 years for a crime he did not commit. He is being held with LWOP (Life Without Parole) in a state penitentiary. After several motions and appeals, Omar was denied his freedom. In September 1997, two people died and there was one surviving witness. This witness mistakenly identified Omar Jones. After 15 years, this same witness recanted his statement and said Omar Jones wasn't the one who killed his cousin and friend. He later revealed he was compensated in exchange for his testimony. This information brought Omar back into court, but the judge still denied his appeal, stating the witness took too long to come forward and wasn't credible. This is the same witness that the district attorney used to take Omar Jones' life from him at the young age of 21. Your signature matters. Please help us get justice and exonerate Omar Jones.
