Our sister, an innocent woman, was tragically shot and killed by a policeman. This incident has left her family and friends in deep sorrow and we are seeking justice for her untimely death. It is unacceptable that the officer involved could potentially be released on bail or even worse, get away with facing the punishment of his actions - he apparently has the full support of colleagues (not ideal as he is a policeman). He needs to be held accountable and go to trial.

We believe that denying bail to this officer would be a step towards justice but delay tactics on this end are not helping. The law needs to send a strong message to perpetrators of crime law enforcement needs to hold them accountable so we can live in a safe country that values it’s citizens' lives
