Tanya Chamberlain was murdered in Lee Summit, Mo. on 11/1/15.

She was stabbed to death by 2 young men, age 13 and 14 years old, while vacuuming her car at a car wash. Tanya was stabbed to death with a Boy Scout pocket knife and her throat was cut. Her body was placed in the front seat of her own car. The young men then went joy riding in her car with her body, until stopped by Law Enforcement for suspicion of DUI. They fled the scene and were later captured.
Due to the heinous crime that these 2 young men have been accused of, we believe it is perfectly clear that both should be tried as adults. The fact that they did not know their victim, brutally stabbed her to death, left her dead body in the front seat of her own car as they went on a joy ride, until stopped by Law Enforcement. This has made it perfectly clear, that these young men have no value for another human beings life. They are both of the age to be fully aware of right and wrong. We, do not feel that it would be possible to rehabilitate these young men based on the facts presented by Professional Metro Therapist, Susan Howard Perry. She has stated that kids will kill for three major reasons: because they feel there’s no other way out of a situation,(which was not the case), they’re under the influence (which was not the case) or they are truly Psychotic. The only conclusion that can be made is, these young men are truly psychotic. They must be tried as adults to keep the public safe from them after they turn 18 years old. Please do not allow this to happen!!
