Hello Everyone my name is Mitch! I’m a 10 year old golden retriever. I love my Family & friends, water bottles, beef jerky & playing in mud puddles. Every morning and afternoon my little brother and I walk around the neighbourhood, the morning of Wednesday August 23rd I was involved in an incident injuring my right tooth, my mom & dad took me to vet and they said they’ll take a sample of my blood and give me injections for the pain & antibiotics, and to come back the next day to have it extracted. Although I was scared I stayed brave for my mom & dad. On Thursday we returned to have my tooth removed, I was sedated the vet removed it and they give me injections again before going home even after my mommy asked them if the injections were necessary since they were giving us tablets to take home for later. 
Friday morning I was happy that I didn’t have to go to Vet anymore, but then I remembered they had given mommy tablets for me for the next 14 days! 
Saturday & Sunday were really relaxing, I wasn’t allowed in neighbourhood until mom and dad said it was okay again but that was fine the yard has plenty of tires to wee on & mom was giving me extra treats. 
Monday August 28, I was heading out for my morning walk with (with supervision) and I started to feel dizzy, my daddy noticed and picked me up and took me back to the vet, on my way there my breathing started to slow down, when we got to the vet my daddy took me out the car and rushed me inside, after a few moments after I had passed with the cause of death being a “heat stroke” according to the Vet. 
Leaving behind all that I loved so dearly. 
My parents are broken into pieces & they want answers and Justice. Please help by signing their petition! I don’t believe a heatstroke to be the cause of death of my dog, he loved water puddles and the muddier the better to him. We deserve the truth it’s the least since we won’t ever be able to have him back. - Faneeza (Mitch’s Mom) 

Mitch remained his same fun loving & playful self through it all, I’m saddened and angry that the vet we chose was negligent and caused us to lose our boy. 
Since sharing our story several people have reached out with similar experiences at the very same veterinary clinic, this is unacceptable these aren’t just pets to us they’re Family. - Nicoli (Mitch’s Dad)
