My name is Puja, and I am seeking justice for my beloved pet, Milo, a 13+ year-old senior dog who is blind and requires insulin injections every 12 hours.

Before boarding Milo at Healwell Pet Boarding on 13 June 2026, we clearly informed the facility about his age, medical condition, blindness, and special care requirements. We were reassured that Milo would receive proper attention and care throughout his stay.

When Milo was picked up from our residence on 13 June, CCTV footage from our society clearly shows him boarding the vehicle on his own four legs. Although he was a senior dog with medical needs, he was mobile and able to move independently.

However, on 17 June 2026, when Milo was returned to us, the situation was heartbreaking. Two representatives from the boarding facility had to carry him in their arms because he was unable to walk. He had multiple wounds on his body, appeared severely dehydrated, could not sit upright, and had virtually no movement.

Since 17 June, Milo has been admitted to Panacea Veterinary Clinic and remains under continuous medical observation. We have already incurred medical expenses exceeding ₹30,000, and treatment is ongoing.

Despite our repeated requests, Dr. Ramesh Jha and Healwell Pet Boarding have not provided complete footage or satisfactory explanations regarding Milo’s condition during his stay. This lack of transparency has only deepened our concerns regarding the treatment and care he received.

Further, we have reason to believe that the boarding facility may not be operating with the required legal registrations and approvals. We urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter thoroughly.

Milo did not deserve this suffering. No pet owner should ever have to experience the trauma of sending a beloved companion for care and receiving them back in a severely deteriorated condition.

We respectfully demand:

A formal investigation into the condition in which Milo was returned.
Full disclosure of all CCTV footage and records from Milo’s stay.
Verification of Healwell Pet Boarding’s licenses, registrations, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Accountability for any negligence or misconduct identified during the investigation.
Suspension of operations if violations of animal welfare standards or legal requirements are found.
Stronger oversight and regulation of pet boarding facilities to protect animals and pet owners.
