On June 12th, 2020, a Los Angeles deputy police officer fatally shot Michael "Blue" Thomas, an unarmed Black man, in his own home. Four other officers were already holding Thomas down when this officer fatally shot him. It is unclear whether they had a warrant to enter Thomas' house in the first place. Additionally, Lancaster Police are not currently required to wear body cameras. Sign this petition to get this petition heard by CA governor Newsom, who must obtain justice for Michael "Blue" Thomas by investigating fully and prosecuting the officer responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
