On July 9, 2025, a group of young dancers from Dharavi set out for a monsoon trip to Lonavala. What should have been a joyful journey turned into a nightmare on Hiranandani Bridge, Kharghar, when a speeding car rammed into their convoy.

— all lost their lives in this horrific hit-and-run. Ten others were left injured, some critically.
The accused, Vaibhav Chandrakant Dhere, fled the scene, abandoning the victims and their families in anguish.
🚨 We demand:
- Immediate arrest and prosecution under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita
- Maximum punishment for reckless driving and fleeing the scene
- Transparent investigation and public accountability
- Medical and financial support for the injured survivors

In memory of Sagar, we call on the local authorities to prioritize this case, leaving no stone unturned until the offender is brought to justice account.
