Justice for Lulu, Dog who Died in United Cargo Hold

Justice for Lulu, Dog who Died in United Cargo Hold
The Issue
When the Rasmussen family boarded a United Airlines flight from Houston to San Francisco, they trusted the airline to transport their beloved dog Lulu safe and sound. But tragically, Lulu would never make it off of the plane alive.
Stuck on the tarmac for a 2-hour flight delay, Lulu died in the cargo hold.
The cherished 5-year-old King Charles Spaniel was reportedly in good health before the flight, and had been cleared to fly just days before.
Sadly, this is no isolated incident. More family pets die at the hands of United than any other domestic airline -- in fact, United is responsible for a shocking one-third of animal deaths on all U.S. flights.
What happened to Lulu must never happen again. Sign the petition to demand that United Airlines take immediate action to protect all animals on their flights -- so that no more innocent pets have to die.
