As of today, there is no new resolution as the VP at Sears failed to contact me today with any communication on making this right. Please keep posting and sharing this petition to make Sears do the right thing.

Thank you everyone for sharing moms story. As many of you may know, mom worked as a manager at Sears for 6 years and was a truly dedicated employee. Sears has recently filed bankruptcy and closing its stores. Mom was due to sign her severance papers on her last day, the 11th, but in a sudden and unexpected moment had passed away while at home between shifts. Now, as she was not alive and Available to sign her severance papers on the 11th, Sears is calling her package void. It's not much, but it would help in her expenses. But more that that, it's the principle of the matter. How can a Corporation going into bankruptcy deny to respect an employee who dedicated themselves for years. Please share and like this post to keep spreading the word. This is an absolute disgrace and should not be ignored. She deserves the respect and common decency to be recognized. I've posted to Sears Corporation, 7 on your side, press Democrat, channel 2 Investigates, Michael Finney, Frank Sommerville, etc. Please help me resonate her name for Sears to pay her the common decency to recognize her dedication to them. Believe me, it's a small small amount, just $2100 before taxes. It's just the principle of the matter. It's just not right and she doesn't deserve this disrespect. She would do anything for anyone. She was a loving, dedicated, beautiful, strong, tender, powerful, encouraging, forceful, enthusiastic, powerful, amazing, supportive woman. Please share and help spread her story.
