The Parole Board voted this morning - NO PAROLE!!!

Thank you to everyone who signed the petition, who wrote letters, and to the Tennessee Parole Board - 

Scarbrough will be up for parole again 12 2027.

 

The parole hearing was Tuesday morning 12/10/2024

The Parole Board Member who attended the hearing has voted to DENY David Scarbrough parole at this time, and his next hearing would be in 2027.

We truly believe that the Parole Board Member's determination was based on not only that Scarbrough's comments during the parole hearing which were not factual, but also because he refused to accept responsibility for his actions and decisions. He claims "it wasn't his fault, it was someone else's.

In addition, he continues to make excuses for his bad behavior both outside and inside prison.

My husband (Bry) and I gave our victim impact statements, and countered Scarbrough's lies and excuses. ALL OF THEM.

We brough copies of newspaper articles and other documentation that show the FACTS!

There are 7 board Parole Board Members. It takes 4 members to vote to either deny or grant parole. We are hoping that at least 3 more Parole Board Members vote to DENY David Scarbrough Parole as quickly as possible.

But it will probably be at least two weeks before a vote is complete. With Christmas coming up, it could take longer.

The dead cannot cry out for justice.  It is a duty of the living to do so for them. There are no “do-overs” for murder.  Nothing brings our murdered loved ones back.  Time has not and will not “fix” what happened to my family. I will never forget or stop missing my parents.  

PLEASE HELP KEEP A DOUBLE MURDERER, THIEF, DRUG USER, AND DRUG DEALER IN PRISON!

Please help us keep a killer in prison by signing the petition and leaving a comment as to why you are signing the petition if you would like.  Please avoid using profanity.   

Ask yourself, do you want David Leon Scarbrough as your neighbor, walking and driving the same streets as your family and friends?  

Do you want him living in YOUR neighborhood?  

Do you want him back in our community using and selling drugs and stealing?   Possibly killing another innocent person?

If you are completely honest with yourself - the answer is NO.
