We created a webpage dedicated to Leia (https://www.justiceforleia.com/our-story and our cause. It is currently under development, but there are those that want to take action now. Detective Hawkins from the Garland Police Department has decided NOT to pursue recommending Torture charges. When asked why he had chosen not to pursue Torture charges as well, he stated that it was too difficult and thereby, he found the Neglect charge much easier to prove. We think that a little hard work is the least that he can do, given that Garland PD has received numerous complaints about Professional K9s over the course of the last few years. And done nothing.

This appears to be a pattern of behavior emanating from the Garland Police Department.
