Kodama was a beautiful platinum, loving arctic wolf puppy who's light was extinguished by "The Living Waters Camp". She was lost and looking for help from this Bible camp to find her way home. She had only known love, affection, teddy bears and hugs from people.

This community was offered a chance to create a miracle and bring this baby home to her mama and family. After calls to wildlife officials and spca and unable to reach anybody they decided after 2 hours of this puppy playing around camp to put a lead on her and walk her off into the bush to be shot execution style. No calls to her owner Sky Phoenix. They took possession easily of this little pup who was not finished growing and she happily marched off to her death. All because she felt safe with people and was playing at the camp. She had been lost at 6am and her execution was at around 8am. Her killing was decided within 2 hours of her being lost. Enough time to determine she was a safe, wonderful puppy who loved play and people. An extensive search was sent by many volunteers scouring the woods by foot and by drone. The search lasted 3 days. Everyone held on to hope that she would be found. No one in their wildest dreams thought she would meet the most harsh guillotine of a close shot, execution style death.

Kodama had nothing but pure love and buoyant affection for people. Absolutely no aggression to people, kids or pets, all of whom she was submissive to. She brought together so many people and was a beacon of light that drew so many into her. And we are all now grieving and looking for answers and justice.
