I pray all is well.
To date, I have not been advised of the contents in the autopsy report for my son Jowell Travis Le Gendre. I did leave a voice message with the Victim’s Service’s Office for Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Ashley Belcher on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 demanding an update and to be advised of my son’s autopsy findings. I have not received a returned call as yet.
The Richmond Times Dispatch reached out last month to both the Roanoke Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office and the Wise County Commonwealth’s Attorney Office to obtain information to no avail. Their attempts were a direct result of the Zoom Townhall orchestrated by the Virginia Justice Alliance to shed light on the Red Onion State Prisoner Hunger Strike Protest.
My family and I are truly grateful for the support and the exposure opportunity afforded by the leaders of the Virginia Justice Alliance and all those who have supported this petition. Without your support, the VADOC and its collusion partners would have successfully silenced my family, covered up Jowell’s murder and erased his name like so many others murdered before AND after his death at their hands.
Now that the Medical Examiner has finally deemed Jowell’s death a homicide, this loss of life is not just a crime against all those who loved him, but a crime against the Commonwealth of Virginia, the United States of America as well as the Global and Universal collective. As such, you have a right to know Jowell’s cause of death, the details of the autopsy report, the status of the investigation and the identity of his murderer(s). You too are victims!
Jowell’s murderer(s) are still at large. VADOC’s initial Press Release, on going attempts to cover up this historically repeated barbaric act of inhumanity, coupled with the grotesque condition of my son’s mutilated body has made that evident. Public Safety is at risk!
Please contact the Office of the Wise County Commonwealth’s Attorney and demand answers.
