We reached 1500!!! Thank you all so much for your support! So many amazing things have been happening for us recently! Correspondence has been occurring via phone and email with Senator Paul Utke, Representatives Debra Kiel and Matt Grossell to act on the MN DOPA law change. All have expressed interest in learning more. Currently, our proposal for change is in the hands of their legal teams for review to determine if change can be made and support can grow from it. Recently, a member of our action group was able to do a taped TV interview with WDAZ. It was originally set to air earlier this week, however, the reporter was able to complete an additional interview with a local attorney to speak about MN DOPA as well, making the segment more thoroughly reviewed, which has set the air date back a bit. We will be sure to let you all know when to tune in! We are ecstatic to see that so much conversation and assistance with action is happening! We will continue update you with the legislative process as we work out way through. In the meantime, it would certainly help to show additional support, so please consider taking a moment to call or email one of the fine legislators above, voicing your thoughts on the MN DOPA change. Tomorrow, Josie's family and close friends meet to celebrate and mourn her short life. We are so honored to be able to give them reassurance that there are many people fighting for change, to assure that no child has to suffer as Josie did.
