Justice for Jimmy Townsend

Justice for Jimmy Townsend
The Issue
Let’s get Justice after over 37 years!!
Meet Jimmy Townsend my father. He was 13 years old. Scared to death becoming a father at 13 years old. But he stayed. The first person to want to protect me for the rest of my life.
Just a kid himself.
He went to Riser Middle School. And in the 7th grade. Who was so active in EVERYTHING HE DID... extremely competitive in baseball loved football but his real passion was Boxing g he became a member of the Boxing Center of Monroe. And had one hell of left hook. Loved finding something that helped him get in shape and to protect himself and me one day if he needed to.He loved riding bicycles with his friends ..And probably put many many miles on those tires too. He was loved by so many. And then hated by some. He was raised up with loving parents who adored him. Him being the only child they had.
On September 28, 1985 what was suppose to be a fun night at our annual Ark-la-miss Fair turned out that he never got to come home to me. He was BEATEN to death by a group/gang of horrible people. 7 guys to be exact!
Technology and Social media wasn't around then. But it
is now!!!! And I WANT JUSTICE!
I want them behind bars.
Help me share! Help me spread the word that we live among these men…now grandfathers and there time in this free world has come to an end!!
