After four long months of evading authorities, Deandre Robinson finally turned himself in over a week ago. During his time on the run, his family helped move him away and altered his appearance by cutting his hair, making him unrecognizable compared to the last picture of him, which was taken at 6:53 PM—just approximately 15 minutes before Jaydin Vann was tragically gunned down. In recent days, some have questioned, whether Deandre was expected to return and face the same harm as his friend. However, that was not the case. Deandre went to the location with Jaydin, but when things went wrong, he fled the scene, leaving Jaydin alone and to die BY HIMSELF as a result of his actions. Despite this, Deandre spent months denying any involvement, even going as far as to claim he was at work the entire time. However, there is a recording of him making this false statement, and it has since been revealed that he sent his location to a man named Sam, confirming his presence at the scene. As of October 8, 2024, Deandre Robinson is finally in custody and booked, after months of lying about his involvement in Jaydin’s death. While this is a step toward justice, we must now ask: what about the man who pulled the trigger? Why are Angel Ortiz and his brother Edwin Nuarez ||| , the men responsible for gunning Jaydin down, still walking free? Why are they not being held accountable for the death of someone’s son? A life was lost, and yet the men responsible for gunning Jaydin down are able to walk freely, telling only their side of the story. Of course, in the absence of Jaydin, their version of events is being accepted as “the truth”—after all, as the saying goes, “dead men don’t talk.”
