The Issue

On April 15, 2025, our family’s life was torn apart forever.

Jayden Braden was at home with his mother and grandmother when someone he trusted showed up at the door. Jayden believed he was safe. He believed the person standing outside was his friend.

He opened the door.

Jayden was shot three times.

There was no argument.
No warning.
No chance to run.
No chance to protect himself.

Jayden tried to escape toward the back of the house. He collapsed from his injuries. He was rushed for help but never made it to the hospital. One of the bullets also struck his grandmother as she sat inside the home, an innocent bystander forever marked by that moment.

The person responsible walked away, got into a car, and drove off.

That is how Jayden’s life ended.
In his own home.
At the hands of someone he trusted.

This Is Bigger Than One Family
Gun violence is now one of the leading causes of death for young people in the United States.
Every single day, over 120 people are killed by guns.
Every year, tens of thousands of families are forced to live with a pain that never leaves.

But statistics do not capture the silence in a home after a child is gone.
They do not show the empty chair.
The unanswered phone calls.
The birthdays that never come.

Jayden was not a statistic.
He was a real person with a future that was stolen.

Why We Are Demanding Action
Months have passed since Jayden was killed, and our family is still waiting for answers.

As we continue to seek justice, several deeply disturbing allegations have surfaced that demand immediate attention, including:

  • Allegations that evidence was discarded after the shooting
  • Allegations of family members attempting to cover up what occurred
  • Allegations of intimidation and threats toward Jayden’s loved ones
  • Serious concerns regarding conflicts of interest in the investigation

Whether these allegations are ultimately proven or not, they are too serious to ignore.

Across the country, families of homicide victims know this painful truth:
When cases lose attention, they lose momentum.
When accountability is delayed, justice often disappears.

We refuse to let that happen to Jayden.

What We Are Asking For
We are urgently calling on local and state officials to:

  1. Conduct a full, transparent, and unbiased investigation into Jayden Braden’s murder
  2. Thoroughly investigate all allegations of evidence tampering, obstruction, or intimidation
  3. Remove any individuals connected to the case where a conflict of interest may exist
  4. Assign an independent investigator or outside agency if necessary
  5. Provide consistent, public updates so this case does not go cold

This is not about revenge.
This is about truth.
This is about accountability.
This is about honoring a life that mattered.

Who Jayden Was
Jayden was a son.
A brother.
A grandson.
A friend.

He was loved. He was trusted. He was safe in his own home until he wasn’t.

Jayden deserved protection.
He deserved honesty.
He deserved to grow older.

Instead, his life was taken in seconds, and his family is left fighting for answers that should have come long ago.

How You Can Help
When families speak alone, they are often ignored.
When thousands of voices rise together, they are harder to silence.

By signing and sharing this petition, you are helping to:

  • Keep Jayden’s name visible
  • Demand transparency and accountability
  • Apply pressure so this case is not forgotten
  • Stand with a family who refuses to be quiet
  • Please sign.
  • Please share.
  • Please speak Jayden’s name.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
