I’m sure everyone local has see the local paper on the 7th of July!
Coleraine Chronicle Northern Ireland,  Where there was a case of animal cruelty that serious that the wee cat had to be put down by vets because it was so cruelly attacked. It was kicked to near death!  Broken ribs internally destroyed by the kicking it got. 

Also it was suggested by the attacker that it had got knocked down by a car! To cover his tracks. To a neighbour. Who took it to the vets. 
CCTV told different. 
The cat in question Jasper was a much loved pet who went out for his morning walk and didn’t return home. 
There was also a few lies told to the court that the cat in question was in the attackers care and he and his partner were allergic to cats imagining giving that as an excuse to kill someone else’s wee animal. 
Animal didn’t belong to him at all. 
Also the issue of supposedly being allergic to cats is untrue because the attacker and his partner have a cat of their own. 
they have had long before he attacked this one.

This  petition is about justice for Jasper! 
nothing else. This is a serious crime this man took the life of that wee animal broke its owners heart to the extent she will never get over what happened her beloved animal. 
CCTV footage was given over as evidence of what had happened this wee animal. I hope when sentencing that this man gets sent down for the mental pain he has cause the lady and her family in the loss of their cat! And more to the point the excruciating pain the animal suffered being kicked outta his garden. And down the path away from his gate. 
There is too many cases of offenders getting suspended sentences. Wee slap on the hand.  It’s time the law turned on these sort of sick individuals and taught them a lesson. 
If justice is served it will hopefully make other people think twice about being cruel to animals. 
Protecting the future of other animals in that this can happen.
Time for such a crime! Is needed in the system in Northern Ireland.
