On February 20, 2025 at 6:10 PM WESH (Channel 2) REPORTED THE FOLLOWING BREAKING NEWS RELEASE:

"A man was found shot to death next to an ATV behind a Winter Garden home on Thursday, sparking an investigation into his death, according to the police department.

In a release, police said they responded to a home on Horizon Street around 3:51 p.m. after receiving reports about a shooting behind the home.

Upon arrival, officers found a man — identified as 32-year-old Ja’Keem DeShun Williams — lying next to his ATV, though he was ultimately declared dead by medical personnel, the release shows.

According to an arrest affidavit, witnesses said Hensel had walked from the leasing office area toward Williams and shouted at him before two shots rang out.

Surveillance video showed Hensel had “walked from the leasing office with his firearm, walked around a nearby building, lying in wait,” the affidavit said, before shooting Williams as he rode by." - David Jones (Reporter)

We are saddened by yet another innocent Black Man (descendant of enslaved Africans), gunned down by an obvious Racist individual. 

According to witness accounts and prior controversial encounters being investigated, we are strongly convinced the charges of 1st Degree Murder should also include the felonious crime of HATE!

A hate crime  typically is a crime involving violence, that is motivated by prejudice on the basis of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds.

The Late and Great Mr. Ja'Keem DeShun Williams deserves justice and a resolution by law officials and the judicial system to not only extend the legacy of this King as a peaceful and innocent victim. But also that of a loving son, family member, father, father figure, community resident and human being.

The wheels of justice must not deny the civil rights of the innocent but also the bereaved family members left to bare the burdens of hate and injustice. 

We respectfully and insist the Winter Garden Police Department, State Attorney's Office and any lawmakers involved in the case of "Ralph Francis Hensel" upgrade the charges to include the bias of HATE. Furthermore, the accused "laid in wait," for the victim to ride innocently by to gun him down and further jeopardizing the lives of innocent bystanders and residents in the community.
