On July 2, 2022 my son Issac Carpenter was murdered in Toledo Ohio by my grandson's father when he went to help his sister and nephew from a domestic violence dispute.  Issac's murderer got to walk without being charged with murder nor anything else due to Ohio's Stand Your Ground law.  In Ohio not only are we targets due to this law but we also have to live in fear because Ohio is also a no license/no permit required to carry a gun when 21 years and over.  Help me demand justice be served for Issac and to get guns out of the hands of those who are not trained nor have strict background checks.  Help me protect your children and families and stop other parents from joining me in burying their child.  Let's demand that murderers go to prison and not back home to kill again. Just recently in Toledo a baby shower was shot up in a drive by and another man was killed while simply sitting in his car. Enough is ENOUGH!!  Let's get the guns out of the untrained and unlicensed people. Protect other law enforcement officers. No more living in fear of going outside. Sign this petition and tell the law makers that we won't be victims and target practice another day.  Our loved ones,  friends, coworkers, neighbors and families all get to GO HOME!
