Immigrant workers are vital to our economy, yet we denied so many the right to work because they cannot obtain a Social Security Number (SSN). We believe that all immigrants, regardless of the status of their documentation, should have the right to work freely and safely. WR DEMAND that the U.S government allow alternative forms of identification like state issued IDs to be used for employment. It’s time to protect all workers, stop exploitation, and recognize the dignity and contributions of immigrant labor.
