The Issue

📍 The Issue

We’re asking for your help to bring justice to Gregory Kamer Jr. — a kind, loyal, and innocent man currently serving 8 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Gregory was originally accused of raping his then-girlfriend’s 5-year-old daughter. He was convicted in October 2020 in Wood County, Ohio, and sentenced to four consecutive life sentences plus 30 months. This conviction was based on deeply flawed testimony and a rushed, biased trial process.

But here’s what the jury never fully considered: ⸻ 📂 Key Facts That Were Ignored or Buried

 • ⚠️ The alleged victim testified at trial that nothing happened.

 • 🩺 A nurse testified that there were no signs of abuse, and the child’s hymen was intact.

 • 📵 The child claimed she watched porn with Gregory on his phone — but digital forensic experts found no evidence of porn or inappropriate content on his device.

 • 📼 Gregory’s daughter recorded the victim admitting Gregory didn’t do it — but the prosecution refused to admit it into evidence, fearing it would “cause reasonable doubt.”

 • 🧬 The child’s mother, Courtney, admitted that the child was frequently caught watching Gregory and her mother engage in sex, and that the child described scenes that reflected those acts, not abuse.

 • 💬 Courtney is on record calling her daughter a “fing liar.”*

• 👨‍⚕️ Gregory was the one who told Courtney to take the child to the hospital — not something a guilty man would likely do.

 • 🧠 The child also had a recurring nightmare about her grandfather, not Gregory, getting into bed with her — raising questions about whether she misattributed traumatic memories.

• 👩‍⚖️ The trial judge (Mayberry) objected during trial (which is improper), misinformed the jury about “reasonable doubt” by saying it was just a “gut feeling,” and interfered with Gregory’s second trial by telling the new judge not to allow a key defense expert.

 • 📆 The jury deliberated for 8+ hours. Gregory and others believe they were simply tired and pressured to convict.

• ⚖️ Gregory’s appellate attorney, Michael Stahl, called it the “worst injustice” he’d ever seen.

 ⚖️ Legal Timeline

 • 2019: Gregory was indicted on 12 charges, including rape and GSI.

 • Oct 2020: Convicted on 5 charges — sentenced to 4 life sentences + 30 months.

• Jun 2022: Conviction reversed by appeals court — citing hearsay violations and improper use of “other acts” evidence.

• Mar 2023: Court denied Gregory’s motion to dismiss new charges based on double jeopardy.

• Sep 2024: Just 4 days before a new trial, Gregory was pressured into accepting a plea deal for 8 years — terrified he’d be wrongfully convicted again.

• Current release date: November 20, 2027

💔 Why This Matters

Gregory’s case is a tragic example of how the justice system can fail the innocent — especially when prosecutors, judges, and investigators ignore or suppress exonerating evidence.

Even with a denial from the alleged victim, no physical evidence, and a reversal by the appeals court, Gregory is still sitting in prison today.

This isn’t just his story — it’s the story of every person wrongfully accused, every child used to cover up adult dysfunction, and every life destroyed by a broken legal system.

 📣 What We’re Asking For

• ✅ A full review of Gregory’s case by the Ohio Innocence Project or other legal advocacy group.

 • ✅ Public support and visibility for his story.

 • ✅ Accountability for the legal officials who allowed this injustice to happen — especially those who interfered with the second trial.

Gregory’s release date is set for November 20, 2027 — but the truth should bring him home sooner.

 📝 Final Words

Gregory has always maintained his innocence. He was pushed into a plea deal under extreme pressure, not guilt. He is a good man, and a victim of a legal system that failed him in every way. He needs our help — and he needs it now. Your voice matters. Your signature matters. Thank you for standing with us. 💛
