Justice for George Smith

Justice for George Smith
The Issue
At 11:20 pm on May 25, 2011 George Smith was traveling home after work when his life was taken in a blink of an eye by Tyler Scott. Mr. Scott made the decision to drink then drive. Tyler Scott was intoxicated, in fact had a B.A.C. of .20 according to police records. After 18 months of legal proceedings Mr. Scott took a plea bargain of guilty to Gross Vehicular Manslaughter while Intoxicated. The maximum sentence allowed by California law is ten years. It is the sincere hope of his family that you will support their request to the judge in charge of deciding Mr. Scott’s sentence to be the full 10 years and not just a slap on the wrist and probation. Your support can help make the difference. Thank You
