Have you ever stopped to wonder why women have to fight for their right to be independent, to control their own bodies, to hold political and religious authority, to vote, to be paid equally, to get divorced, and to just be respected as fellow human beings? Where did this notion that women are lesser come from?

What happened since the times of the great Goddesses and Queens like Egypt’s Hathor, Isis, and Cleopatra, who were all respected and adored in their full power? Why have mystical “witches,” who are simply in touch with Mother Nature, been the target of violence, abuse, and murder throughout centuries? Since when have we lived in a society with national laws that both suppress and sexualize women at the same time? Where and when the hell did the world go wrong?

This has been an important question plaguing my mind for the past several years and I have been obsessively searching for the answers of life’s deepest questions using my own incredible intuition, the mystical guidance of my angel mother above, and my highly-trained intellectual and investigative skills. For the first time in my adult life, I turned to where it all began, or at least where we are taught that it all began... the Bible. That’s right, I am taking you back to the Garden of Eden where we meet the mother of humanity, Eve.

If you take a good look at the Old Testament, there are actually two versions of Genesis with different stories about the creation of man and woman. In one of the stories, rumored to have been added later by an anonymous source, Adam and Eve were made at the same time in the image of God, which leads us to wonder if there must be both a Father and Mother Godhead, a growing belief around the world. However, the "original” Genesis creation story- that our country’s laws have been created upon- state that Eve was made from the rib of Adam as a mere afterthought and that she should be owned by a man. This, right here, ladies and gentlemen, is the exact reason why we have been fighting for women’s rights. One sentence in the Bible. 

Am I the only one who finds this story deeply disturbing and perplexing? Call it the feminist part of me, or just plain logic, but I could not accept this absurdity. Eve was deemed simultaneously useless yet powerful enough to both birth, and cause the fall of, humanity. That sure sounds like a lot of responsibility and influence for a mere afterthought if you ask me. Rather, it sounds like she, and the entire female race, has been used as scapegoat for some dark hidden agenda. So I kept digging and digging about the truth of what really went on in the Garden of Eden, and boy oh boy did I find the jackpot!

Hidden deep within the ancient set of texts of Gnostic Christianity, known as the Nag Hammadi Library, we can find a scripture that changes it all: “On the Origin of the World.” By understanding the significance of what is written here, we can piece together the truth of humankind and start to understand why the world is so twisted and dark today. According to this scripture, sex is not a sin, God is also a woman, and Eve was not made from the rib of Adam, but carefully sculpted by our Mother God Sophia, the Creatrix of the entire Universe. Eve was sent down to the Garden of Eden to save and resurrect Adam’s lifeless body that was made and abandoned by Satan. Eve was not created for the pleasure of a man nor to be his property. She was created to be the instructor of men, to teach them how to love and spiritually ascend. 

"On the Origin of the World" tells explains how Eve ate the apple from the Tree of Knowledge as instructed to by name, which was actually her own higher self, the Goddess Zoe, who shape-shifted into the form of the serpent in order to communicate with herself. Once Eve ate the apple, she took off her rose-colored glasses and realized that “God” was really Satan in disguise, not her Heavenly Father, referred to as Saboath. When Satan realized that Eve knew the truth about his dark agenda to entrap and enslave humanity for his own benefit, he and his henchmen proceeded to rape her in the most violent ways and impregnate her with his demonic seed. Indeed- Adam was not the father of Cain and Abel—Satan was.

This explains why Cain was compelled to kill his brother Abel and why humanity has both their dark and light side. It is quite an unfortunate fact that humans were born out of sexual violence and  we can understand why it's more prevalent now more than ever with the sex trafficking going on around the world. Current laws that limit a women’s full rights to her body, her life, and her happiness are based upon a misogynistic, made- up story that Satan wrote and strategically placed in the Bible in order to suppress and silence women. Ouch. Painful, right?
