The sudden death of our brother and friend, Eugene Quaynor, under alleged reckless circumstances has shaken many Tulsans and the Ghanaian community  around the world. Eugene was the beloved captain of the Oral Roberts University soccer team. 

As of this petition, there is no public charge against the driver who took Eugene's life. The news has indicated the police believed the driver to be intoxicated and driving at extremely fast speeds at the time of the wreck. His identity still remains anonymous.

We are starting this petition to appeal to the Tulsa police and Attorney Steve Kunzweiler to recommend and press charges against the driver that hit Eugene. Eugene deserves Justice.

We lost Eugene, and it is a haunting image that the city of Tulsa still has not sought Justice for Eugene. For the safety of the city of Tulsa and other law-abiding citizens who use our roads, we are requesting the Tulsa Police recommend charges and the District Attorney seek justice for all Tulsa residents for the tragic death of Eugene Quaynor as he patiently waited at a stoplight on his commute.

We are demanding that the DA aggressively pursue charges to the fullest extent of the law. There must be accountability. Or, better put in his words from his campaign's website, "The District Attorney often is the last hope for crime victims to receive justice." 

We trust that Attorney Kunzweiler's intention for justice will be reflected under these circumstances.
