Donae Nya Cooper was 20 years old when she was gunned down by the man she was dating, [Redacted] on July 15, 2022. The Stand Your Ground Law in Pennsylvania was used in her homicide to be a justifiable cause for [Redacted] to take young Donae’s life. Was there an argument and altercation in his home? Yes! Was property getting damaged as a result? Yes! Were the police called? Yes! But they didn’t show up in time. Did Donae have a weapon? She had a taser she used in her own defense of him. Donae left [Redacted] home after their confrontation and argument. Donae came back and for what reasons we aren’t clear. Minutes later she was shot from the back by [Redacted]! If he feared for his life the first time, why let her back in? Would you let a person back on your premises if you feared for your life? NO! Please help Donae receive justice.
