The Justice for Courtney campaign started in earnest this week and already we have more than 2500 signatures on the petition.

But we need to reach at least 50,000 signatures to make the Queensland Premier, Attorney General, Police Minister and Queensland Police to take action.

According to her family, Courtney Anderson was on the verge of leaving her partner when she died. When women leave relationships, they face the greatest risk. The point of ending a partnership is the moment they are at most risk of being killed.

Courtney's family believe that her death may not have been investigated properly and that there may have been a rush to judgment by police and the local coroner.
