In August 2022, Mr. Clifton Howard was hit and killed while riding his motorcycle. The defendant, Miguel Cabral, was charged with one count of Causing an Accident While Driving a Vehicle Without a Driver’s License. The defendant's bond was set at $5,000 & he was released. This single charge remains pending in Oklahoma County, CF-2022-4045.

Compared to other crashes resulting in criminal cases currently pending in Oklahoma, the single charge filed in this case is not severe enough.

Mr. Howard was a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force & a rider with the Patriot Guard. He and his family deserve better.

A new District Attorney was recently elected in Oklahoma County. We are asking Ms. Behenna to immediately revaluate this case and charge the defendant appropriately.
