Chef Alexandra Lewallen has unjustly stepped away from her position at McEachern Highschool. The situation pertains to the death of Charlie Kirk, and a social media post that was brought from her private account to the public. The person who first posted this private post is currently unknown to us. Not only was this post taken from her private account, but the claims that were made pertaining to what she said were exaggerated. The person who posted the screenshot also cropped the bottom of it out of the picture. Seemingly to push a more hateful agenda. Students of McEachern stand with Chef Lew, and we want this wrong to be corrected. The school and the districts handling of this situation has left us deeply troubled and unseen in our own school. This is our chance to use our voice, and I implore you to rally behind us and sign this petition.
