Petition updateJustice for Chad Vincent Fry: Why This Case Demands ReviewThe appeal was denied — but this is not over.

I want to be transparent with everyone who has supported this petition.
On January 27, 2026, the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records issued its final determination and denied my appeal. They accepted the State Police’s argument that the records I requested are exempt because they relate to a criminal investigation, and they also accepted the agency’s claim that certain records (including interrogation recordings and signed Miranda waivers) “do not exist.”
Let me be clear:
This decision does not mean the public was wrong to demand transparency.
It means the system is structured to protect itself from scrutiny.
The decision relies almost entirely on internal agency attestations — essentially, the agency being allowed to say “trust us” without independent verification. That should concern everyone, not just me. When law enforcement agencies can avoid accountability simply by claiming records don’t exist, public oversight becomes impossible.
This petition has never been about revenge.
It has always been about transparency, accountability, and due process.
And that mission does not end here.
I am currently evaluating next steps, including further legal remedies and escalation outside of this administrative process. Your support, signatures, and shares matter more now than ever. They show that people are paying attention — and that silence is no longer an option.
Thank you for standing with me.
Thank you for caring about justice.
And thank you for refusing to look away.
More updates soon.
