Justice for CERN Scientist Dr. Furkan Dolek

Turkish physicist Dr. Furkan Dolek has worked at the world’s most prestigious institutions — CERN, Virginia Tech, and Fermilab. With over 660 international publications and nearly 20,000 citations, he should be celebrated for his scientific achievements. Instead, today he is making headlines for the injustices he has suffered.

Because he exposed misconduct, radioactivity & safety violations at the institutions where he worked, Dr. Dolek faced harassment, had his visa unlawfully revoked, and was taken into custody.

Dr. Dolek stood up not only for science, but also for the rights of scientists, for academic freedom, freedom of speech, public health and protection of human life. His case is not just about one man’s freedom — it is a global test of justice for the future of research and researchers everywhere.

Türk Bilim Adamı Dr. Furkan Dölek İçin Adalet

Dünyanın en saygın kurumlarında (CERN, Virginia Tech, Fermilab) görev yapmış, 600’den fazla uluslararası yayına ve 20.000’e yakın atfa sahip Türk fizikçi Dr. Furkan Dölek, bugün bilimsel başarılarıyla değil, uğradığı haksızlıklarla gündemde. Çalıştığı kurumlarda usulsüzlükleri ve güvenlik ihlallerini rapor ettiği için baskıya uğradı, vizesi hukuksuz şekilde iptal edildi ve gözaltına alındı.

Oysa Dr. Dölek yalnızca bilimi savunmadı; bilim insanları haklarını, akademik özgürlüğü ve insan hayatını korumak için sesini yükseltti. Bugün onun özgürlüğü, sadece bireysel bir mesele değil; dünyanın dört bir yanındaki araştırmacıların geleceği için bir adalet sınavıdır.
