Justice for Cameron Twiss
Cameron Twiss has been missing since October 13th while hiking in Valbone, Albania. Cameron, an Australian traveler, had been staying at a hostel in Shkoder, where he worked in exchange for accommodation.
Two days before he went missing, Cameron attended a suspicious dinner with the hostel owner and four others. He later expressed fear to a friend, saying that if anything happened to him, they would know who was responsible. On October 13th, he joined the group for a hike in Valbone but was last seen at the first checkpoint. The hostel owner claims Cameron split from the group, intending to meet them later, but he never returned.
Alarming details have emerged:
Cameron's belongings, including his passport, remained at the hostel, yet the group delayed reporting him missing.
His phone was used to access sensitive government IDs two days after he disappeared.
Initial search efforts were led by people connected to the hostel owner and lasted only two days.
Police efforts were minimal, with no widespread publicity or thorough investigation.
He is the third person to go missing in this area in a year, where getting lost is reportedly unlikely.
Recent information reveals phone taps of two suspects, one of whom fled Albania, yet there has been no official update.
Cameron's family has received no transparency or support from authorities. They urgently need international pressure on the Albanian government and police to properly investigate and publicize the case.
Please sign this petition to demand justice for Cameron Twiss and ensure no family has to endure such negligence again.
