Justice for Calves Kicked and Punched at Agresti Calf Ranch — Demand Clover Sonoma Act

Justice for Calves Kicked and Punched at Agresti Calf Ranch — Demand Clover Sonoma Act
The Issue
Clover Sonoma markets its milk as cruelty-free. Drone footage tells a very different story.
In late February, animal rights activists filmed workers at Agresti Calf Ranch in Ceres, California — a supplier to Clover Sonoma's dairy partner — kicking and punching young calves, pulling them by the nose with pliers, and removing their horns with a hot iron without anesthesia.
Temple Grandin, one of the country's leading livestock welfare experts, reviewed similar footage and was unequivocal: this is abuse.
The ranch is certified by the American Humane Society. Clover Sonoma suspended its supplier briefly — then reinstated them after a rushed audit, calling the abuse "isolated."
That's not good enough.
Clover Sonoma built its brand on a promise of humane treatment. Its website features the farm's owner. It was the first dairy company in the country to receive a cruelty-free certification. Consumers who pay a premium for ethical dairy products deserve more than a one-worker firing and a shrug.
Firing one employee doesn't fix a culture of abuse. Reinstating a supplier weeks after documented cruelty isn't accountability — it's damage control.
Sign this petition to demand Clover Sonoma permanently cut ties with Double D Dairy and Agresti Calf Ranch until a full, independent investigation confirms no animal abuse is taking place.
