📢 Callie’s Commonwealth Campaign Update 📢

We’re back! Thank you all so much for your patience and continued support while we took some time to regroup and catch up and enjoy a week off. We have a lot of updates to share, and we are so grateful to everyone who has continued standing with us. Please read through to the end.

First, we are excited to announce that we will be launching our Callie’s Commonwealth Campaign merchandise store this week! More details will be coming soon. This will allow supporters to purchase items that help spread Callie’s message while allowing us to accept non-charitable contributions as we continue working toward establishing our nonprofit status. These funds will help us create campaign materials, educational resources, and continue building this movement. Every bit of support helps, and we are incredibly grateful. 🐕

We also want to share some important progress:

🐾 We have filed our Right-to-Know appeal and are continuing to pursue transparency through the appropriate channels

🐾 We are preparing an additional Right-to-Know request with the police department

🐾 We will also be submitting a Right-to-Know request to the school district later this week

🐾We are working on a new batch of letters that we will share

🐾We secured another endorsement (we will be sharing that once details are finalized)

🚨Hearing Update:

The school board hearing that was originally scheduled for August 5th has been postponed! We were informed that the hearing will be rescheduled for a later date and that, because a private hearing was requested, the new date and time will not be publicly announced. We understand that many people have been waiting for this hearing, and this is upsetting, but we appreciate your patience as this process continues and this is all the information we have at this time. Again, I am sharing what we know right now. If more information becomes available, we will share. We will continue to advocate for accountability, transparency, and meaningful change in Callie’s memory. We are not going anywhere.
