🐾 One Month Without Callie 🐾

Today marks one month since Callie was taken from the people whose lives she touched.

One month since a trusted facility dog, who brought comfort, compassion, and joy to so many children, never made it home.

Today is first and foremost about remembering Callie and honoring the incredible impact she made in such a short time. We continue to hold her school community, the students she comforted, and everyone who has been affected by this tragedy in our hearts.

Over the past month, I've also had the privilege of hearing from several people who knew Callie personally. They shared stories of her gentle spirit, her kindness, and the comfort she brought simply by being herself. Those conversations have only reinforced what so many already knew—although Callie's life was far too brief, the impact she had on the people she met was truly profound. She was deeply loved, and she is deeply missed.

As we reflect on the past month, we also wanted to share where things currently stand.

Unfortunately, we have not received responses from either the Mayor or the Warwick School Board regarding our requests for accountability and meaningful action.

In addition, our Pennsylvania Right-toKnow request for the investigative records was denied by law enforcement. Those records could have provided valuable insight into the investigation and the reasoning behind the District Attorney's decision not to pursue criminal charges. Without access to those records, many questions remain unanswered. While this is frustrating, it has only strengthened our resolve to continue advocating for transparency and accountability.

We know many of you share our frustration.

But frustration will not define this campaign.

Determination will.

In just one month, more than 11,000 people have signed the petition demanding accountability and advocating for stronger protections for facility animals. That is because of each of you. Every signature, every share, every conversation, and every act of support has helped keep Callie's story alive.

This campaign is far from over.

We remain committed to seeking answers, promoting Callie's Code, and advocating for the policy and legislative changes needed to help prevent another tragedy like this from happening again.
